How much does a bulk bag contain?

A bulk bag contains 800kg for the majority of our products.

This is a standard weight for bulk bags. To work out how many you’ll need please use the calculator on the product page.

I’m trying to match up the colour to some existing stones/slate in my garden, will your stone match?

Products supplied by Stones4Homes are completely natural, therefore we are unable to guarantee colour/texture. Over a period of time, our products will naturally change colour after being exposed to the weather. If you are unsure you can request a sample by selecting the sample icon (found on each product page) or call us.

Do you have a showroom that I can visit?

Visitors are welcome at the Stones4Homes Selby Depot to look at our products and have a chat about their needs. Please be aware, the stone yard is a working environment.

Ordering

I’m not sure how much product I will need; how do I work it out?

Select the calculator icon (found on each product page) to work out how much is required. You’ll need the width, length and depth of the area that you wish to cover, measured in metres.

Do the prices include VAT?

All our prices include VAT at the current rate of 20%. In the event of a change in the rate of VAT our prices will be updated to reflect this.

Should I put anything under the aggregate before I put it down?

We always recommend using a good quality weed membrane under the aggregate. This not only suppresses weed growth but also helps to prevent the aggregate sinking during wet weather.

Shipping

Can I request a delivery time?

Delivery times are difficult to specify but you can choose to upgrade to a morning or afternoon delivery. Full details of our delivery options can be found on the delivery page.

Do the prices on the Stones4Homes site include delivery?

By entering your postcode, the price will update to include our standard delivery (2-4 days). At checkout, you will be given the option to upgrade to be able to specify a quicker delivery or am/pm delivery. For all our delivery options see the delivery page.

What if I am not there to receive the delivery?

If you have provided an alternative contact name and number when ordering then we can still make the delivery.
