Wood Shards - Occasionally, during the manufacturing and screening process, a small proportion of larger pieces of wood, ie ‘wood shards’ may fall through the screens and be contained in the finished product.  If these wood shards are considered to be a hazard, and in line with good practice ‘post installation’, they can be physically removed by hand.
